Capturing 140+ corporate headshots for the University of Newcastle.
Capturing over 140 portraits over consecutive days is a huge task, luckily we are experienced at big shoots.

Problem
When you run such a big organisation, with a natural turnover of staff, it's so important to capture new staff members for use internally, and for presentation to external partners. But when you're capturing a large amount of staff, logistically it takes a lot of co-operation and more opportunities for people to come and sit for a portrait.
Objective
To capture over 140 portraits and retouch them all to keep a similar tone. Retouching minimally.
Solution
To coordinate the shoots, we had to create 3 different shoot times, to allow people enough opportunities to attend. We wanted to capture the personalities, but also make sure the results captured in camera were clean and easy to process.
To do this we set up a mobile studio, complete with backdrop, lighting, reflectors and a stool to seat the portrait subject on.
We then carefully lit, shot, and edited the final images to ensure no matter the location that we shot, the portraits look like they are a part of a set.
