In 2022, Doughheads released new doughnuts every fortnight, which meant they needed fresh photography on the same cycle. Every two weeks we shot the new range a few days before launch, ready to go.
Speed mattered. We shot everything as in-camera as possible so editing was minimal and turnaround was fast. No faffing about with retouching when the launch date is already locked in.
The quality test was simple. If we wanted to eat them, we knew the shots were right.
